    <content type="html">&lt;img src="http://hamburg.fawco.org/AWCH_GettingAround/images/Stolpersteine.jpg"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Cologne artist Gunter Demnig has begun a project to memorialize Holocaust victims...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://hamburg.fawco.org/AWCH_GettingAround/AWCH_InterestingFacts/AWCH_Stolpersteine.html" target="_new"&gt;One by one&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;His project, known as &lt;i&gt;The Stumbling Blocks&lt;/i&gt;, is to place a stone paver with a plaque about the birth and death of each victim in front of their last known residence. There's great significance in this for Jewish people, as it's very important to have a marked grave site, which concentration camp and missing victims often do not.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I heard the story about this beautiful idea this morning on &lt;a href="http://www.npr.org/rundowns/segment.php?wfId=1679362" target="_new"&gt;NPR&lt;/a&gt; and no, I'm not Jewish (this time around), but yes, I cried.</content>
